MA International Relations, MA Social Political Science, Diploma in Youth Work, Action Learning set facilitation trained, IOSH certified.
Experienced Youth, Charity, Local Authority and VCS leader with expertise and passion for ensuring the impactful delivery of Youth and Community Services to better our society and increase efficiency.
I love looking for practical solutions to problems and challenges, especially where this can result in a positive impact on communities and have the potential to help people, especially young people, thrive. Having led strategy, policy, commissioning and direct delivery of services through austerity and to some of the most vulnerable communities in the country, I bring the experience of achieving impact in the most challenging of contexts and am unphased by sticky issues, including those related to resource shortages. I have led multiple teams and always seek to assist colleagues in feeling happiness and satisfaction in their work. Nothing fulfils me more than working with and empowering people to achieve common goals. I firmly believe that even the most difficult of tasks should and can be carried out with a sense of wonder and adventure without ever sacrificing kindness and respect.
