Supporting charities and funders to act at the intersection of social and environmental issues.
I support social charities and funders to act on the links between their cause areas and environmental issues, and I support environmental charities and funders to integrate issues of fairness and justice into their work.
My work is bespoke to each client's needs, however I am frequently asked to leverage my skills to support through research, stakeholder engagement, senior leadership / trustee decision making workshops, co-design, collaboration, partnership working, strategy development and training.
My passion for the space where social and environmental issues bump into each other, and all the associated fairness and justice issues within, arose from my own personal health journey and experience of an endocrine disability. I believe that the transition to a post-carbon economy is an opportunity to create a fairer, healthier and more sustainable future for everyone if we work together.
Collaboration to increase impact is greatly important to me. I am a trustee of the Environmental Funders Network, and a trustee of the cross-sector membership organisation the Eating Better Alliance.
How would you describe yourself or your work in a few words?
Environmental justice. Collaboration. Research. Strategy. Engagement.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love walking on Dartmoor with other mums, wild swimming in rivers with my two young girls, growing my own vegetables, and cooking.
If you had a day where you could do absolutely anything, what would you do?
If I could really do absolutely anything, I'd get all the UK politicians in a room with people who are at the sharp end of climate change to hear their stories first hand.
